Annapurna (Sanskrit, Nepali, Newar: अन्नपूर्ण) is a massif in the Himalayas in north-central Nepal . Annapurna Himalayas Range includes one peak over 8,000 meters (26,000 ft). Thirteen peaks over 7,000 meters (23,000 ft), and sixteen more over 6,000 meters (20,000 ft). The massif is 55 kilometers (34 mi) long.  Kali Gandaki Gorge or River is lies in the west of Annapurna Trek Region. Where as Marshyangdi River on the north and east, and Pokhara Valley on the south. Western end the massif encloses a high basin called the Annapurna Sanctuary.  Here Annapurna I Main is the tenth highest mountain in the world at 8,091 meters (26,545 ft) above sea level.

The entire massif and surrounding area are protected within the 7,629 square kilometers (2,946 sq mi) .  Annapurna Conservation Area. As a result this Area holds title of first and largest conservation area in Nepal. Several world-class treks, including the Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Poon Hill and so on is popular Annapurna Conservation Area.

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel

Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu, trek briefing in the evening

Day 03 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then to Birethanti

Day 04 : Trek from Birethanti to Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung village

Day 05 : Trek to Chomrong, famous for making apple pie

Day 06 : Trek to Bamboo Lodge

Day 07 : Trek to Deaurali and rest at Himalayan hotel

Day 08 : Trek to Machapuchare Base Camp (3,700m)
