Trekkers Zone Trekking Grade In Trekking in The Himalayas

Easy Trekking Grade

Just about anyone can participate in one of these holidays. Minimum walking is 4 hours and maximum is 5 hours a day (approximately). Paths can be rough, steep and undulating with some exposure. Early in the season expect snow patches at higher altitudes. Good health and level of fitness are essential. Generally we attain the altitude between 700 to 3000m. On this easiest trekking with long tours comes on this grade. Trips of Easy trekking Grade are our: Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking, Everest View Trekking 

Moderate Trekking Grade

Trekkers Zone Moderate Trekking Grade at an altitude up to 4500m with side trips to higher elevations. This is classified as ill – defined trails, away from main stream habitation. Considered to be harder therefore preparation for fitness and good health conditions are essential. Trips of Moderate Trekking  are Annapurna Base Camp, Mardi Himal Trek,  Khopora Trekking and so on.

Strenuous Trekking Grade

Ventures at this grade are ‘Tough Treks’ and must be fully supported. These treks also involve several nights stay above 4500m best described as Alpine and suitable for those in excellent health. These trek covers very remote areas, traveling over snow-covered passes at an altitude of up to 5700m. You may need axes and crampons to cross the passes when there is heavy snow. (some extreme cases.)Trips of Strenuous Trekking Grade are: Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Valley, Annapurna Circuit, Upper Mustang and Chomolhari Trek. Gokyo Valley, Manaslu Trek, Everest Base Camp Tour Tibet and more.

Challenging Trekking Grade

Obviously we hope to fulfill our objectives but realistically we can only guarantee start and finish times with these treks. The treks are limited to those with an excellent level of personal experience and fitness and a sense of humor, with high tolerance levels. During the trek you may have to cross snow-covered passes in very remote areas and/or climb up to 5700m in altitude.  This grades of activities needs a good technical experiences and need to face extreme challenges. All our Peak Climbing and Expeditions are example of Challenging trips of trekkers zone.
