First Aid Safety Kit and Equipment

Extreme environments increase with extreme weather or being ill-prepared, check and be prepared. Essential Safety Gears and Equipment

Head Torch: For hands-free when the power genie isn’t around or those trips in the night or early morning and to the outdoor toilet.

Gloves and Beanie: From October until April night and early morning can be very cold at high altitude, heat is the lost most quickly through your head, hands, and feet.

Sleeping Bag: Blankets are provided by tea houses; however, there can be a shortage in peak season and in winter you’d need several to keep warm in the chilly rooms.

Personal Equipment For Safety

Sunglasses & Suncream: At high altitude, the air is thinner and the sun is stronger, Glare and burns can be uncomfortable and there is always chances of snow.

Thermals: A must as night are cold from October to April above 2,000m or indirect contact of Mighty Himalayas ranges while trekking and in tours of the Excursion of Hills of Nepal.

Water Bottle: Filtered drinking water to refill your weather bottle is available at many tea houses for a small charge per liter. You can buy commercially bottled water at most tea houses. Please help respect the environment as most of the empty plastic bottles end up littering the mountains and rivers or being burnt.

Quick-Dry Towel: In case there is an opportunity for a shower after a hard days’ trekking.

Money: There are no ATMs, In the Trekking Trails, So bring all the money you will need for your trek and transportation plus some extreme in case of emergency. Independent trekkers can count approx. Mrs 3300- 5000 per day for food and accommodation ( more when you drink alcohol)

Map: Essential for independent trekkers as it shows where there are tea houses, medical felicities, altitudes. Off course route of your trekking trail in Nepal.

Wet Wipes and Toilet Paper: When a show is not possible then these are the next best things in the Trekking and Adventure. While Toilet Paper can be short supply.

Nepal Tourism Board For Emergency For Safety

Crisis or unexpected happening can occur at anytime, anywhere,  during traveling. Therefore, we at Nepal Tourism Board recommend al tourists to be well planned for such situations before traveling. In case Tourist encounter crisis or emergency situation, the Board will intervene, Coordinate and Advise.
