Changu Narayan Temple

Changu Narayan Temple is the world heritage monument. Situated on a ridge overlooking Bhaktapur, the temple lies about 12 km to the east of kathmandu. Also, this is one of the oldest specimen of pagoda architecture in the valley. Since the temple embeds the Hindu god Vishnu, it bears religious importance. The temple, dating from the Licchavi period, is embellished with exquisite wood and stone carvings.

                                     Nagarkot is best place for sun rise with Himalayas. If you like to experience this we can start our trip early even from kathmandu.
 sunrise tour start about 4:00 AM in the morning from your hotels as you have to be at Nagarkot to see the sunrise over the himalayas and we hike to Chagunarayan Temple and back to Kathmandu/ including Bhaktapur. and ends around 15:00.
