8 Days Mundum Trekking – A New Trek in Nepal

Meanwhile, moderate 8-day trekking starts from Bhojpur, Chakhewa Bhangjyang (2,300 m). Similarly, Mundum trek follows Dhotre, Maiyung Haas Pokhari (2,962 m), Rawadhap, Salpa Bhangjyang (3,348 m) to Silichung (4,153 m) and returns from Haas Pokhari and to Suntale ending trekking at Bhojpur Bazar. Add two more days and you can trek up to Taksaar Bajar in Bhojpur and Temke Danda (3000 m). Since it is a newly opened trail, there are no teahouses or guest houses, so this is a complete camping trek. You have to carry your own foods and tents or porter will carry them for you, so you can expect some more adventure during this trek.

During this Mundum Trekking, you will be able to witness the culture, lifestyle, history, and festivals of Kirat and Rai community people living in this region. And this Mundum trail is named after the holy book (Ved) of the Kirati community.
